Foundation Struggles

Finding the right foundation can be a bit challenging. You have to look for the right one. What brand do you prefer? What kind of skin type do you have? Dry or oily? Do you want light to medium coverage or medium to high coverage? These are things you have to think of when you go shop for a foundation. Its not as easy as just grabbing the first one you see or because you like the color of the top.


I personally have very dry skin. So my choice is of course grabbing one that is for dry skin. Grabbing one that is for dry skin will rehydrate my skin cells and add a dewy finish as oppose to grabbing one for oily skin will only leave me a matte finish.  Luckily I don’t have sensitive skin and can go just for a basic one, but others that may have sensitive skin or aging skin it can definitely be a hassle. 


My favorite one is NARS. It is full coverage with a light feeling. In other words you don’t feel like you have the whole bottle on. A little product goes a long way, (one drop to be exact) and gives you a very natural look. NARS foundation will neutralize redness, dullness and discoloration for more even, uniform skin. It blends very well and stays all day and what’s even better it is waterproof.
